Amethyst Pendant

Amethyst is purple and white showing the typical twinning effect here.  It was thought that in Ancient times that it would protect its wearer from "drunkenness", but we also know it as the birthstone for February. It is that purple colour due to the Iron impurities in the Quartz crystal lattice and it is the best part of this semi precious stone.

This pendant is only outlined by Silver metal and not backed, so you can see the stone on both sides and wear it against the skin.
